Until the order is received on the POS at the store, the workers in the store can do absolutely nothing except to be on alert for the order to come eventually (and then void it or delay as you requested). So in your case if you originally set the pickup time for an hour later and then place the order, it will be 40 minutes before the store receives it on their POS (cash register).
